Rene Orland Lopez-Ortiz is currently a senior at Mountain Crest High School. He is a quiet artistic force to be reckoned with. He enjoys painting with acrylics, watercolors, ink drawing, and even throwing pottery on the wheel. His favorite theme to address in his artwork is anything that makes him feel calm. Many times this includes architecture or landscapes. He wants his architecture art to radiate warmth from within, and his landscape paintings to feel like a cool summer breeze. When asked to describe himself, Rene prides himself on being calm, creative, kind and having a huge imagination.
