Gallery Walk

Join us on October 9th for the Downtown Gallery Walk. We will be hosting Calene Lucero from Hands for H.O.P.E. and Dawi, an African drum and dance group.

Calene Lucero will be bringing Fair Trade, handmade items made by Adi Adinortey.  Adi Adinortey sells his handmade bags, backpacks, place mats, biscuit bowls, and nativities at his souvenir shop in Ada Foah, Ghana.  The money that Adi earns is used for his living as well as to help Hands for H.O.P.E., a charity that helps the people of Ada Foah, Ghana further their education and become self-sufficient.  Currently, Hands for H.O.P.E. is building a community center that will house an IT school to help the community learn computer skills.  The organization has also been paying for the school tuition and fees, uniforms, and books for orphans in the village.
