On March 25th we will be open until 9 PM to host our featured artist’s Gallery Walk.
We are showcasing the stunning work of Sue Zollinger, Pam Loosie and Carol Goodsell, their artwork is with the eco-printing process. Eco-printing is a process that originated with India Flint, an Australian native, using small amounts of plant material. The process that uses tannins in the leaves, allowing them to print themselves, became popularized with the internet. Sue Zollinger uses an iron mordant to help the tannins penetrate and adhere to the paper or fabric.
The artists are kindly donating all of the money from art sales to Global Village Gifts. Each of the art pieces will have a starting donation price. Customers are welcome to pay more than the asking price if they wish to!
We are so excited to support these three amazing artists on the same month as International Women's Day.
