Fair Trade Month

October is Fair Trade Month - Celebrate with us all month long!

  • Join us for a virtual class on Fair Trade coffee & chocolate tasting! This event will take you through a variety of Fair Trade coffee samples from Caffe Ibis and Fair Trade chocolate samples from Global Village Gifts. You will learn how to identify tasting notes, gain tips on sensory development, and discuss pairing options.

    Here's how it works:

    • Pick up a "Tasting Packet" at Global Village Gifts, which includes all of the products that will be tasted, as well as a tasting guide.

    • Read through the instructions provided in the packet in preparation for the event and have supplies ready.

    • Log on to the Zoom event & follow along with our instructor as she takes you through a sensory experience you'll never forget!

This event will be lead by Caffe Ibis's Coffee Educator, Edie DeVilbiss, and will be held via Zoom. More information to come!

  • All of our products have a story. Learn more about how our Fair Trade products are made by following us on social media! Throughout the month we will post videoes from our artisan partners showing the process of making various Fair Trade items. Watch as well for recipe videos using Fair Trade products!

  • Snag one of our Curiosity Bags while supplies last! We have put together a limited supply of mystery bags containing a variety of Fair Trade items. Take a chance and score big!

Retail value of at least $60 - you pay $20!

Our Curiosity Bags will be available starting the first week of October and will be available while supplies last. Are you curious?

  • All Level Ground coffee varieties will be 15% off through October 31st!

  • We have put together a Fair Trade Holiday Gift Guide! This guide will provide you with ideas for everyone on your list, as well as give you a sneak peek at some of our holiday items that will be available to shop starting the first weekend of November! Check out our holiday guide by clicking the button below.

  • During this particularly trying time, our artisans have experienced heightened struggles in regards to their personal health and safety, consistent work opportunities, and resources for providing for their families. In celebration of Fair Trade Month, we will be donating to some of the groups who are struggling as a result of COVID. Thank you for helping us to support our artisans!
